I have two beautiful miracles.
Both arrived three weeks before my due dates.
I was on bed rest during part of the first pregnancy and had anxiety while dealing with weekly stress tests due to pre-eclampsia.
My husband and I were told there may be possible birth defects as we had opted to have children beyond age 35.
With my second pregnancy, the baby changed positions at the last minute at the hospital so I had to have a C-section performed (which compromised my chosen birth plan).
I still haven’t lost the entire baby weight after over 6 years but am working hard to get back on track to feel like my “old self.”
Despite all of these challenges, I would not change a single thing. I cannot imagine life without them. They are so loved!
They make the world an even better place and I am proud of them every single day.
